In light of deteriorating conditions in the financial and commercial real estate markets, the Global Real Estate Group provides an update to the white paper, Why Invest in U.S. Commercial Real Estate When Capital Markets are in Turmoil?, which was written in the summer of 2008.
In the eight months since the paper’s completion, the story has become even more complex. In light of these subsequent events, we offer this brief Addendum to bring the storyline and the ideas we presented more up-to-date.
